The Beethoven Year 2020 was the reason and time for the idea of founding a new, high-quality musical institute. When Beethoven came to Vienna from Bonn, he brought a "breath of fresh air" to the venerable city of music. It is in this spirit that the "Vienna Beethoven Conservatory" as a new and attractive driving force in Vienna's music education programme.
