Voraussetzung für ein Studium am Vienna Beethoven Conservatory ist die positive Absolvierung der Aufnahmeprüfung. Wird diese erfolgreich bestanden, erfolgt die Einteilung in das entsprechende Semester des Haupt- oder Perfektionsstudiums.

The Recognition of certificates and degrees other universities, conservatories and post-secondary educational institutions can be applied for (certificates that are not in German or English require a certified translation).

Entrance examination

Aufnahmeprüfung für das Wintersemester 2025/26

Für alle Instrumental- und Gesangfächer, Dirigieren und Komposition ist der Anmeldeschluss für das Wintersemester 2025/26 am 1. Oktober 2025. Die Prüfungen finden dann im Zeitraum am 1. Oktober bis 20. Oktober 2025 im Vienna Beethoven Conservatory in Wien statt.

A repertoire that corresponds to your current artistic level must be prepared for the entrance examination. Für die Teilnahme an der Aufnahmeprüfung wird eine Gebühr in Höhe von 190,00 € eingehoben. Diese Gebühr ist vor Antritt der Prüfung zu entrichten und nicht in den jährlichen Ausbildungskosten enthalten.

Applicants from third countries will receive a confirmation of admission to the entrance examination for any visa application that may be required.
